Looking after Auckland’s icon on the hill

A revitalised museum identity for a world-recognised institution.

We’ve revitalised and modernised the visual identity programme that we originally created for the Auckland Museum over 8 years ago. The new identity involves a suite of signage and marketing material, all with a consistent visual system. The nautilus image has been introduced as being symbolic of the migration of New Zealand’s peoples. We’ve also reworked the graphic depicting the neo classical building, the much-loved and admired Auckland landmark. The revamped identity has also been successfully applied to the MUSEUMSHOP.
